The Heat Treatment Sales Engineer will participate in the creation, development and implementation of sales initiatives in the Heat Treatment target market in Italy that will lead to the development of new Heat Treatment accounts, increase revenues and margins.
Penetrate targeted customer accounts, develop customer profiles, marketing and sales plans, create opportunities with existing clients and new prospects, develop and deliver proposals, participate in contract reviews and monitor overall business development success.
MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Develop Heat Treatment industry knowledge, Heat Treatment application knowledge and technical expertise in the application of Eurotherm products to solutions in the Heat Treatment industry.
• Understand industry requirements based on market data, customer and sales force feedback and develop requirement documents to help drive Eurotherm marketing and development.
• Develop in agreement with the Southern Europe vertical leader, by Marketing, strategic Sales plans to generate business with both new and existing accounts.
• Work as part of an international team to grow the Heat Treatment initiative.
• Identify and develop profiles of potential new accounts and create opportunities with both existing clients and new prospects.
• Identify and develop strategic competitor analysis and plans to counter competitors activities with targeted accounts.
• Monitor overall Heat Treatment business development success and track and report on progress against plan.
• Develop and conduct potential and existing customer presentations to attract new business.
• Work with the Sales force on developing opportunities.
• Work with Marketing to support trade shows and identify new solution and product opportunities.
• Help to leverage existing international customer relationships for penetration of new customers.
• Generate annual sales and profit per target objectives in support of company budgets
• Develop and deliver proposals and participate in contract review(s)
